Documents Required to Obtain a Shops and Establishments License
A shop or establishment license in India requires the following documents:
- The employer’s Aadhar card or PAN card or driving license as proof of identity
- The employer or owner of the establishment must submit a passport-size photograph
- A picture of the shop or establishment, along with the employer
- (If renting an apartment) a copy of the lease agreement
- Bills from the working space’s utilities
- In the case of a trust, a list of trustees
- In the RO
- Association agreement
- There is a file containing the members and chairman information for co-operative societies
- Establishment address proof.
- A partnership deed with all the necessary information, including the name, the address, the signature, and the share percentage of each partner
- Permission letter from the RBI
- Certificate of incorporation according to the Companies Act.
- A permit from the RTO for transportation
- FSSAI or Food license
- Food and Drug Administration
- The permission of the collector
- Obtaining a NOC from the local police department for a cybercafé
- Certificates (IEC codes) for imports and exports
- An excise license is required for restaurants and wine shops
- SEBI shares a broker certificate.
